MACQUARIE BANK HACK CHAMPIONSHIPS (EPIC) 13-15/11/09 Wow! And I thought things couldn't get any better!!! Song made her Show Hunter Pony debut, and came away with Champion Small Show Hunter Pony! So off to Grand National we go! All our horses did very well, and Charm went Top 7 Open Feature Hack on Saturday night (we even received quite a few comments she should have won!). This was our last show for the year... went out with a bang! BAMBOROUGH SEPTEMBER SONG

APSB NATIONAL HORSE & PONY SHOW (SIEC) 7-8/11/09 What an amazing show we had! Despite the crazy weather (hot one minute, raining the next) and lots of running around (rings far apart), we managed to not miss a class! Charm had an amazing show being unbeaten, whilst Song capped it off with Supreme Ridden Pony! My mother and I also presented the Marnic Merrymaid Memorial Trophy to the winner of Champion Ridden Australian Pony 12.2-14h... The Wilson Family and Koorana Gucci received a beautiful engraved silver plate (perpetual) and special sash. We were certainly holding back the tears! But they all flooded out when Song got Supreme; I even made one of the judges cry! BAMBOROUGH COUNTRY CHARM

SHC NSW HOTY 16-17/10/09 We arrived at HOTY to be welcomed by dreadful winds! Luckily, the weather eased for a lovely show. All of our ponies worked great, and we couldn't ask more of them. Song and Charm didn't make Top 10 in their Open sections, although both went well especially Charm who felt just amazing to ride. Memorize attended his fifth show to compete in the Newcomer Large Pony (a very big class) and managed to do a very nice workout! Video footage should be uploaded soon... BAMBOROUGH SEPTEMBER SONG

Young Show
28-29/9/09
Unfortunately, Uni likes to get in the way of shows, and this time clashed with Young show! I had a report due on the Monday, so my mother took Song, Charm and Jack by herself, along with the help of Kelsey Sibley (thank you!). Also thank you to Alicia (who rides for Jill and Robert Grant) who helped out with the riddens. On Tuesday I could only stayed until 12pm, as I had a Uni presentation at 2pm! Apprantly the weather was much nicer on Tuesday, as I was told it was freezing on the Monday! Unfortunately there are no photos from Young show, due to running around so much and having to leave abruptly!

Eugowra and Molong Shows 19-20/9/09 Another great weekend! Charm stayed at home on a well deserved weekend off, so we took the opportunity to take our super newcomer pony Memorize for some much needed experience. Once he got used to the sights and sounds of the side shows, Mem was such a good boy, and we received alot of comments about him. We are very excited about his future! Sydney Regional APSB Show (Luddenham Showgrounds) 23rd August My mother Christinne and I had the pleasure of judging at the Sydney Regional APSB Show, with lovely ponies, pleasant competitors and good weather making the day enjoyable. (Mum- Part Welsh, Arabian Ponies, Child's PH. Me- APSB, Open PH, SH PH, ASP.) Thanks to the Sydney Regional Sub-Group for looking after us; Melissa McVeagh was lovely, her mother made us a beautiful lunch, and Fred Riley was plesant as always as the Ringmaster. SWHA Show 9th August Today we stepped out our newcomer, Bamborough Memorize, at his first ever show. He was such a good boy all day! We just wanted him to enjoy his day, but a bonus was that he won his Novice PH and Open PH 12.2-13h classes! We are very excited about Mem's future, as he shows as much potential as his full sister B. Mannequin. We also took B. September Song, and she did well, winning Champion Small PH, Champion Led ASP, Champion Led APSB and Reserve Champion Led Part Welsh. It was such a lovely sunny day, compared to last year! Morongla All Breeds Foal and Youngstock Show- 24th May 2009 Well what a way to spend my birthday! :) It was great weather for a great show, even if the it did go bit longer than expected! We took along Bamborough Golly Gosh (the "veteran" of the team!) and Marbuck Just Peepin' for her first outing! "Mia" is by Boston Bittermint and out of our very successful mare Bamborough Peep'n'Seek. Thanks to Jill Grant for her lovely birthday lunch that she prepared for me and the whole gang at the show! This year was also the first year of the Marnic Merrymaid Memorial Award and Perpetual Trophy for Supreme Pony Youngstock. My mother Christinne and I presented the award to the deserving winner; Glenian Park Rare Delight, owned and led by Glenda Lovell (Raymond Terrace). The lovely thing about Glenda winning this award was that she told us that she remembered our pony Marnic Merrymaid (Mardi)! It really made the trophy worthwhile! Congratulations Glenda and Rare Delight! Thanks to Jacqui Langfield who worked tirelessly to organise this wonderful show! We look forward to attending the Morongla All Breeds Foal and Youngstock Show next year! Brooke Stevenson.
